My Kinda People

Have you ever thought about the people that you have in your life in this moment and think, "Wow, God, you have put the coolest people in my life!"  I had that thought this moment when I stopped by to visit my friend Megan Holdren at her new storefront for her clothing design company.  You may recognize Megan from our very first Cooped Up Confession.  She truly is one of mine and Kirste's favorite people.  Not only is she an amazingly talented designer but she is "the salt of earth" kind of person.  She's so encouraging and just cooky enough to make you want to be around her all the time.  Love that girl!

So in typical Megan style, she threw a posh party at the downtown historical theater in Greeley to debut her 2015 Fall Line and it just happened to be her 30th birthday.  So for the first time in a very long time, I donned a cute skirt and heels (of course, it was Livewire) and I got my mama to babysit and I got to go mingle with some really fun people.  The only one missing was my handsome hubby who was in Mississippi for a bullriding and Kirste who had a prior commitment.  It was such a fun night and I'm so proud of Megan and what she's accomplished and how bright her future looks.  Make sure to check out her 2015 Fall Line here!
