Outfit of the Day: Flannel and Cuffed
The weather in Colorado has been absolutely beautiful lately. We are supposed to reach a high of 66 today, that's absolutely crazy for January weather in this state, and we are going to soak up every minute of it. Yesterday, we stayed outside most of the day in between nap times and rode horses, went for a walk and ran around the yard. I know it won't last for long and I'm starting to get excited for spring time. I've got big plans for a chicken coop, garden and getting horses back in shape to rodeo. So, for this glorious day I chose my go-to flannel shirt. I picked this up at Ross and I wear it A Lot! It's a lighter flannel so it'll protect me from the breeze today but not get me too hot. The jeans are from Gap. I'm not a huge Gap fan, but I had a discount for the store and I tried these jeans on and they fit so nice. They're a straight leg cut so I can cuff them with my boots to add a fun detail to my outfit. If you have cute boots, a great way to show them off is by cuffing your jeans. I learned this trick from my friend Megan at Livewire and I think it adds such a retro twist to everyday jeans. My boots are made by Stetson. They make some great boots and the turquoise underlay is such a gorgeous color, they are not made in the turquoise color anymore but these red ones are beautiful. To top it off I threw on this beaded headband from Livewire Clothing to combat any hair fly-a-ways.
And to give you your weekly dose of cuteness, check out my littles. Animal ears on a hoody are just about the cutest thing ever!
I pray that you have an amazing week!
