Blessed

Seeing this sight on my drive home tonight, I was reminded of what our Cooped Up Confessional, Jeannie Hackelman had said in our interview with her, "We are blessed to live here, it's not a privilege."  I've been so blessed to have always lived where I could see the stars at night, hear the coyotes yip and know what "stillness" really feels like.  I'm careful to not use the word peaceful when I describe living out here because peace only comes from truly knowing God and this "peace of God which surpasses all understanding" can only be present in a lover of Jesus Christ.  A person could be in the most beautiful place in the world, but be tormented inside because they have failed to surrender their life to Jesus.

So here I am again, asking, "Do you know Jesus? Have you made Him Lord of your life?"
