Open Your Eyes!

beautiful-eyeDo you ever stop to look at what is right in front of you?  Do you ever open your eyes to look deeper than just on the surface of things?  Well let me tell you something!  God doesn't want you to just barely open your eyes to Him, God wants your eyes to be so bright eyed to Him that He is your ONLY focal point!  Sometimes I feel that we all become complacent to things placed before us.  This could be your in your relationships, your marriage, with our kids, with material possessions or even complacent with yourself.  I know no one wants to admit to being complacent in something but, I will!  I think it's good to know when you have become complacent to things in your life.  God wants us to always be looking towards Him in everything and to look forward to the greater things that He has for us.  God doesn't want us to just stay the same.  One thing I have learned from my walk with God is that we are to always be moving forward and always be looking to what God has next for us. Have you asked yourself or even better asked God what He has for you next?  Whether you're looking for an answer in a certain circumstance or situation, in your general life, or your dreams, always be looking for the answer from Him.  When we reach out to God and just simply ask Him to help us, He will!  God is so merciful and so gracious to all of us everyday and we need to remember that.  Something that I always like to ask God to do is open or shut a door.  Lately I feel like I have been asking God to shut a lot of doors and to show me more of Him!  I encourage you to ask Him to shut the doors in your life that you need shut.  Ask God to open the door and open your eyes to show you where He wants you to be.  If we keep our focus on His eyes, we can't stray away!  Know who He is calling you to be!

I pray that each and every one of you discover more of God this week.  That your eyes would be awakened to His presence and His goodness.  His love never fails and His love never gives up on you even when you feel like giving up on yourself!  Allow Him to open your heart and let you receive all that it is that He has for you!

Love you all,

Till next time, XOXO Cooped Up Wife Kirstebeautiful-in-gods-eyes
