You Speak LIFE!

Do you ever find yourself scrolling down on the news feed on facebook?  Honestly, I do this a lot.  I don't even read everything, but if something catches my attention then I stop to read it.  The other day I was scrolling down the newsfeed and someone's post caught my eye.  The post said, "what if the words we speak to one another were written on our bodies as tattoos."  Hmm!  As I sat there for a while I literally pictured what this would look like.  Can you actually imagine some of the words you have spoken to others written out on your body for everyone to see? What words would be tattooed onto your body?  Sometimes, we don't realize the things we are saying to other people are so hurtful.  I know we all have thought hurtful things to others or even actually spoke out our thoughts!  It may be to someone you really love or just someone you see on the street or at the the super market.  The Bible talks about there being death and life in the power of your tongue.  What is it that you are speaking?  I don't know about you, but I want the words coming out of my mouth to be "life."  Life is meaning our words are positive, uplifting,  and affirming to others.  Ephesians 4:29 says this: "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."  

I believe that reading that post was not a mistake but a reminder.  A reminder not only for me, but for you as well.  We all should be striving to speak words of life to each other!  Think about how many amazing things can happen when you speak life into someone else!
