MESSage

We had an amazing night of women's ministry at our church a couple of Fridays ago. Heather Johnson, who we featured in our Brave Series on March 6th, came and spoke to the ladies in our church. All I can say is, "Wow! God, You are so good!" If you want to check out her story please follow the link above and scroll down to March 6th. I won't go on too much about it, but it's truly a tale of redemption, restoration and renewal. God is all about taking people's ugly past and using it to glorify Him and to bring others who are broken or lost to Him. That's what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. He died to heal the broken hearted and to bring life to the dead!

At the end of sharing her testimony, she went on to say that no matter where you've been or what've you done, God can use your mess to further His message. Like we learned in the Bible before, God is all about taken prisoners to turn them into rulers, murderers to change them into leaders of His people and persecutors of the faith to spread His Gospel. He can take you, bruises, scars and all to bring hope to the world. You may feel like you don't have a great testimony or that you've always just followed God, so how can you minister to God? You know what? You have tried and true faith and you know the faithfulness of God and that His love is for everyone.

I got so much out of her raw words of how God got a hold of her and I was able to soak up the goodness of how God views each one of us as His child and that we are never too far gone for Him to not leave the other 100 sheep to chase down you. You are that precious to Him!

So go on, share your mess to further His MESSAGE! Don't hold back, everyone of us has a ministry and realm of influence to share it in!
