Gods Provision

Sometimes we sit there and we think, "is God gonna do something?" We sit there waiting in expectancy. But, not an expectancy from God. Instead, we place our expectancy on waiting for someone else to emotionally take us somewhere to "feel" God and to "see" what He's gonna do. Now we all have done it before and I am as guilty as anyone else for doing it, but we can't do that anymore! It is NOT someone else's responsibility to create a spiritual response in us. It is our own responsibility! 

A while back leading worship I looked out at all the beautiful people that God had placed there and knew God wanted to show His people this. Our Pastor had spoke it just how God had given it to me. He said, "Gods provision is right in front of us, and ALL we need to do is PICK IT UP!" 

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:19”

Sounds easy enough right? Don't be stagnant where you are, but continually reach out. We are responsible for our relationships with Christ, no one else. So, what are we doing about it? Stand up, reach out, walk forward into the goodness that God has for us! His provision is right there for us but we need to be obedient in what He's showing us! He wants every part of us, not just half! Pray, read and seek out what God has for you. I love this quote from John Ortberg Jr. It says, “The goal of prayer is to live all of my life and speak all of my words in the joyful awareness of the presence of God. Prayer becomes real when we grasp the reality and goodness of God's constant presence with 'the real me.' Jesus lived his everyday life in conscious awareness of his Father.”

Praying and encouraging you to live a life full of prayer, discernment from the Holy Spirit and the truth of Gods word. Remember, His provision is right in front of us...all we need to do is, pick it up!
