But Will You Live?
This last week I was listening to a podcast by Kris Vallotton from Bethel. It's terrible but, I can't even remember the subject he was speaking about but one sentence he said hit me hard and I've thought about it numerous times since then. He said, "We're all going to die someday, but will you live?"

Of course he wasn't talking literally like will you have breath in your lungs and blood running through your veins, he was asking, "will you do what you were put on this earth to do? Or will you just take the easy and safe route and let life pass by on cruise control?" I mean we have a choice if we're going to really live. God's given us this choice, to step out into the purpose He's put on our lives or to stay in our "safe place." In which Kris pointed out, that any place that isn't in God's purpose for you is very dangerous. He may have called you into Africa to minister to a people who's village is overrun by rebels and terrorists, it may look like the scariest place on the planet but if you know for sure that it's where God wants you, you'd be in the safest place in the world. Psalm 91 states, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler." His Word promises that if you abide in the Lord He will protect you from the enemy. He wants to be your refuge, fortress and your home.
So I'll ask you again, "Will you live?"
